How to Display Twitter Updates on a Facebook Page

If you're an avid Twitter user and want to share your tweets with people on your Facebook page, installing the Twitter application on your Facebook account can keep everyone you know updated with your latest posts. The Twitter application for Facebook is designed for easy integration between both accounts, which means you can post a tweet to either one when you want to share a thought, idea or link.

Instructions
Step-1:
Log in to your Twitter account. Enter your username or email address, plus your password into the designated fields and sign into your Twitter account.

Step-2:
Select "Settings" from the features section. "Settings" is the third option from the right at the top-right corner of the account page. Selecting this will take you to your account management page.

Step-3:
Scroll down to the "More Info URL:" section. This is where you'll find a link to addTwitter to the site.

Step-4:
Click on the Twitter badge link. This is hyperlinked to the text that reads "You can also add Twitter to your site here." Selecting this will take you to the Twitter badges page.

Step-5:
Select Facebook from the "Display Twitters on your web page" section. Facebook is the third option from the top; click on the radio button to be taken to the Facebook apps page.

Step-6:
Install Twitter to your Facebook account. You'll see screenshots of the Twitter application in action on Facebook. Scroll to the bottom of the screen to find the 'Install Twitter in Facebook' button and select it.

Step-7:
Sign in to Facebook. You will now be taken to the Facebook login screen with the Twitter logo visible near the top. Sign in using your Facebook e-mail address and password to start the installation process.

Step-8:
Allow Twitter to access your Facebook information. Select "Allow" to continue the installation process.

Step-9:
Enter your Twitter log in information on Facebook. Facebook will need your Twitter username and password so that Twitter can access your Facebook page. Select 'Login'

Step-10:
Update your accounts with a new tweet. You will now see a large content field box that looks similar to your Twitter updates box with all of the people you are following underneath it. This means Twitter has been successfully installed on your Facebook account.

Tips & Warnings
  • Selecting "Allow" during the installation process confirms your Facebook Platform User Terms of Service agreement.
  • You can remove the Twitter application from your Facebook page by selecting "Block" from the Applications menu.
  • Adding Twitter to Facebook does not automatically mean your Facebook status will be updated to Twitter; you will need to select "Allow Status updates from Twitter" to enable this function
